Mondays 18 - 19.30 Yin Yoga
A slow-paced type of yoga where poses are held for up to 5 minutes in a relaxed manner. On the physical level, Yin Yoga targets bones, joints and connective tissues. It is also a very powerful exercise in mindfulness, and a much needed balance for the rest of our often busy, rushed lives.
Wednesdays 10 - 11:30 Yoga for Successful Aging
Balance, strength, range of motion. We practise a little bit of everything as we work through the body, respecting our limits with gentle transitions and movements. Suitable for anyone!
You are never too old (or too young) to practise Yoga for Successful Aging
Always book - and cancel if you have the slightest symptom!
At the moment, due to Covid-19, we will be ouside if possible, where there is lots of room and the number of participants is rarely more than 10 or 12. But if we get rained out, or as the weather starts to turn chilly, I will take the classes inside - but limited to 5 participants. I will offer the space to the first five who have booked, and if the interest is there I will open more classes to accommodate demand.
I have all the equipment you need, but perhaps you feel safer bringing your own yoga mat. I also have good quality, all-around mats for sale at cost.
Evening classes can get cool so consider bringing a light blanket.
